Disney Store pop-up returns at Great World with Sakura-themed Plushies from Japan

Disney Store Singapore pop-up at Great World — sakura plushies and Star Wars lightsabers on display

Good news if you missed the Jewel Changi run last year — the DisneyStore.sg pop-up is back, this time at Great World. It’s open until 17 May, free to walk in,

DisneyStore.sg has taken over the Level 1 Atrium at Great World from 22 April to 17 May 2026. In addition to the highly-anticipated sakura-themed plushies from Disney Store Japan, the 26-day run brings a curated mix of Disney, Pixar and Star Wars collectibles under one roof, along with walk-in activities, and a couple of freebies.

What’s so special about this pop-up?

The Sakura-themed Collection from Disney Store Japan is the star. Pastel pink plushies, accessories and stationery designed around the Japanese cherry blossom aesthetic. These don’t usually make it outside the Japan stores, so this is the easiest way to pick up the line without booking a flight to Shibuya.

Meanwhile, Star Wars fans get a proper setup: lightsabers ranging from $149.9 to $605.9, character helmets, and a rotating spread of Jedi Activity kits for kids (available 22 April to 7 May).

If you’re around for May the 4th, block out the Tiny Galaxy Creations workshop from 1 to 4 May (12pm–4pm daily) where you can trace character templates onto heat-shrink plastic and bake them into mini keychains. It’s free, but capped at 100 participants per day.

The Toy Story zone leans carnival. The Midway Mania game ($75.9) — direct from Disney California Adventure — is a shooting gallery where you fire cannonballs, and the Alien Claw Machine ($85.9) is exactly what it sounds like — the iconic “Oooh, the claw!” one.

Round it out with mystery bags and blind boxes from $29.9, plus homeware and lifestyle items up to $49.9.

The Disney Store is still without a permanent home in Singapore, so pop-ups are the only way to shop the line in person — and the sakura drop from Japan is the kind of exclusive that tends to disappear by week two.

If you can, head down this weekend (24–25 April 2026): the first 50 guests each day get exclusive collectible cards. Spend $80 or more and you also unlock the cards while stocks last.
