Khao Yai Farm Village – Sheep feeding for $2

Instagrammable farms are hard to come by, and Khao Yai Farm Village gives you unexpected surprises.

For starters, their iconic red barn house, in the middle of an open pasture, for the perfect photo. But more importantly, while most farms in Khao Yai separate their animals from visitors with a fence, Khao Yai Farm Village allows close encounters.

The admission fee only costs 50 baht per person and includes a bunch of grass for sheep feeding. This price is very reasonable in Khao Yai.

However, if you are afraid to interact with animals from a close distance, this farm may not be suitable.

The sheep roams around freely within the fenced area, providing loads of photo opportunities with unblocked views. For instance, you can hold up the bunch of grass and run around while the adorable creatures chase after you. But don’t worry, they’re gentle.

Aside from sheep, there were only two other types of animals — pigs and rabbits. But, the rabbits were very skittish, and not easy to interact with.

However, the place was a little rundown and the rabbits were very skittish to interact with. From online reviews, there used to be more workshops and activities but they were not available during our visit probably due to the pandemic.

During our visit, there was a little lamb that was irresistibly cute.
