Step into the human mind at Mirror Mirror: Journey Into the Mind, the newest interactive exhibition by Moment Factory at ArtScience Museum.
Opening 8 March 2025, you can explore perception, memory, and consciousness through a fusion of science, art, and design. Expect eight interactive rooms that showcase different facets of the human mind through playful, immersive installations for all ages.
What are the 8 different rooms in this exhibition?
The eight different rooms at Mirror Mirror: Journey into the Mind are Doorways, Memory Storage, Open Window, Grey Matter, Brainstorm, Moodscape, Forest of Echoes, and Mirrors of Tomorrow.
Doorways
The Doorways installation sets the tone for the exhibition with three imposing doors, each leading to a different experience. There’s no right or wrong choice — just a subconscious decision waiting to unfold.
Admittedly the most Instagrammable room here. Also, it was interesting to notice how I subconsciously picked a room without even properly considering it.
Memory Storage
The Memory Storage room examines how we accumulate experiences and knowledge throughout life. Here’s where the interactivity begins. We got to answer some questions on our phones. The responses become part of the exhibition through a QR code on the floor.
Open Window

The next room, Open Window, is a continuation from the previous room. It features an AI-generated poem just for you.
Grey Matter

Grey Matter explores how neurons function and how perception, memory, identity, and consciousness are all connected. And yes, if you’re wondering if the pattern on the floor is supposed to be a brain, it is.
Brainstorm

Brainstorm lets you form digital collage by tossing balls at an interactive screen. It’s a fun and engaging way to see how ideas spark and evolve, supposedly representing the magic of brainstorming, which comes from the collective energy of the process.
Moodscape
One of the iconic room, Moodscape, is a dreamlike, haze-filled room bathed in shifting colours that play with perception. In here, you can sway in swing chairs, fully immersing yourself in the calming and energising effects of different hues.
Backed by scientific research, this installation highlights how colour influences our emotions and even physical responses. Warm tones spark excitement, while cooler shades like blue bring a sense of tranquility.
Forest of Echoes

Forest of Echoes offers a captivating experience where light displays and infinite mirrors surround you, creating a space for introspection. The room explores how identity is shaped and the way the lights danced across the infinite mirrors made me pause and reflect, almost as if I were seeing different versions of myself.
Mirrors of Tomorrow

Ending my journey at Mirrors of Tomorrow, I was met with a personal takeaway — a unique and personalised card reflecting my experience.
How much does it cost?
Tickets for Mirror Mirror: Journey into the Mind are priced at $24 for adults and $20 for concessions.
