4 experiences packed into 1 workshop session sounds pretty crazy.
This new spot in Chinatown offers one of the most unique workshop experiences in Singapore, where you get to build your own film camera, customise it, take photos with it, and even develop your own film from scratch afterwards.
The DIY workshop itself lasts at least 3.5 hours, with multiple hands-on activities packed into a single session, which honestly makes it one of the most worthwhile workshop experiences we’ve tried in Singapore.
Which workshop should I pick?
While they do offer individual workshop options, we’d highly recommend going for the Couple Pack ($180) to get the most value out of the experience.

The workshop includes:
- Reusable film camera x 1 (choose your colour)
- Build your own film camera x 1
- DIY charms & materials
- Film roll x 2
- Development materials
- Photo strip
We were also served cafe drinks from Cafe Monochrome.
Our experience
1. Build your film camera

For the Couple Pack, you’ll receive a ready-made reusable camera (available in different colours) and another build-your-own film camera with a more vintage look.
It takes about an hour to build, and the process was really fun, especially if you enjoy hands-on activities. Instructions and staff guidance are also provided if you need extra help!
2. DIY your film camera

Personally, this was the part that got me the most excited, as we could choose from so many different charms and stickers. You can even colour directly onto the camera and finish it off with a layer of varnish afterwards.
I honestly couldn’t believe they even had the full set of Eevee evolution designs, which is pretty rare. There were also plenty of other cute character stickers, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Tamagotchi, Sanrio, and many more.
3. Act as tourists

Once you’ve completed the DIY process, you can bring your cameras out for a fun little outdoor photoshoot with your partner! Each camera comes with a roll of film that allows you to take around 36 photos. Since the workshop is located around Chinatown, we also got to capture plenty of cultural and heritage-inspired spots nearby.
4. Develop your film

Afterwards, you’ll get to experience developing the film yourself with guidance from the staff. It was something I’d never tried before, which made the whole experience feel even more unique and memorable.
5. Choose your photos

You can select 4 to 8 photos after receiving the full folder of developed photos and they will give you a photo strip to bring home.
Honestly, $90/ pax for a 4-hour workshop like this is super worth it!
