Created by The Imaginariad, Portals is the global debut of the world’s largest collection of original sci-fi and fantasy art, books, and miniatures. The experience spans eight themed zones across 13,000 sq ft at 25 Scotts Road, with tickets from $26 per adult.

What you can expect?

The main draw is the art itself: over 300 original paintings from iconic fantasy, sci-fi, and gaming universes, on public display for the very first time.

These are the actual brushstrokes — not prints or reproductions — sourced from artists whose work shaped how entire generations imagined other worlds. The selection spans myth and legend through to modern sci-fi.

There’s also the Miniature Section, where you can find three massive dioramas — one of the world’s largest Atlantis dioramas, a sweeping fantasy battlefield, and a sci-fi future cityscape — built from over 10,000 hand-painted pieces.

It’s worth mentioning that the entire exhibition is 100% screen-free. This means no projections, no light shows, no digital displays. It’s really all just original physical works and hand-crafted installations.

For anyone serious about sci-fi or fantasy illustration, this is a rare chance to see original works up close — most of these paintings have never left their private collections before.

But, for this edition of The Portals only, you’ll be able to get your hands on the “Future Singapore 2126” merch collection, as well as ultra-limited signed art prints are also available, with only 100 editions of each.
