Like Magic — is this a new dance trend?

If you’re wondering why everyone is dancing to the new K-Pop song on TikTok, it’s so that they can win a pair of concert tickets to K-Wave Inkigayo, complete with flights and accommodations.

What’s the buzz about?

The competition is organised in line with Coca-Cola’s latest drink — the Coca-Cola K-Wave Zero Sugar.

This new drink celebrates fans and their devotion to K-Pop. Hence, to introduce K-Wave, Coca-Cola collaborates with three popular groups, Stray Kids, ITZY, and NMIXX, alongside K-Pop ambassador Jin Young Park (J.Y. Park, to release a new song — ‘Like Magic’.

Following the release, they created an immersive AI fan experience where fans are now able to take part embedding their voice, name and face into various segments of the music video.

How to participate in the competition?

There are two ways to win a pair of tickets to the upcoming K-Wave Inkigayo. Both requires you to purchase Coca-Cola K-Wave Zero Sugar at any 7-Eleven in Singapore.

You can either take part in a K-Pop quiz that’s available here or via the QR code on the can or upload a ‘Like Magic’ dance cover here.

The ongoing event runs from 1 April to 3 May 2024, before you join check out the Terms & Conditions to check your eligibility.

For full transparency, a panel of three judges will evaluate your dance cover based on musicality, performance quality, and technique.

To participate you have to be Singaporeans or PR aged 13 years old or above. More information can be found in the terms and conditions.

The 15 entries with the highest scores will win a pair of concert tickets each. Winners must claim their prizes by 10 May 2024. Failure to do so it will result in forfeiture.

Where to buy the Coca-Cola K-Wave Zero Sugar in Singapore?

The new drink is said to have an additional burst of fruitiness on top of the iconic cola taste.

Following its debut in South Korea, this new beverage is now available in Singapore at all at 7-Eleven outlets.
