If you aren’t chronically online, especially on TikTok, you might be wondering what the hype is.

Vincent Lim, also known as Dimsimlim, has 2.1 million followers on TikTok and 1.2 million followers on Instagram.

He has many viral videos, most above 100k views. But his most famous ones are a steak challenge issued to Gordon Ramsay, an informative video on how to season a wok, and how to cook Nasi Lemak — surprisingly, the Flying Lobster Noodle, his signature dish, isn’t in the top three.
