Whiskey neat or on the rocks? How about with some ingenious food pairing options at this bar.
Enclave Restaurant and Bar has just partnered with Glendronach to launch its 3-course Whiskey Flight. You can get it a la carte — course by course — or savour all three pairings in one night.
Do note that this tasting menu is only available at Enclave Restaurant and Bar along Keong Saik Road, not to be confused with Enclave Bar along Neil Road
Our honest review of Enclave Restaurant and Bar
3-course Whiskey Flight with The Glendronach
Here’s what’s on the menu.
- The Glendronach 12YO x Fresh Oysters ($30)
- The Glendronach 15YO x Japanese Chicken Wings ($42)
- The Glendronach Port Cask x Assorted Cheese Platter ($38)

The first two glasses played on the contrast between the whiskey and their respective food pairings.
For instance, The Glendronach 12YO’s rich creamy profile was balanced by the fresh, acidic flavours of the fresh oysters and mignonette, while The Glendronach 15YO’s fruity and sweet notes was countered by the spiciness of the wing sauce.
Personally, I found The Glendronach 15YO very similar to its Port Cask counterpart. Both were sweet and fruity, but the tartness of the Port Cask was slightly more prominent if you tasted them alone.
Food at Enclave Restaurant and Bar
While you’re at Enclave Restaurant and Bar, don’t forget to check out their Asian menu, featuring a small selection of rice bowls and zi char dishes.

The Sweet & Sour Popcorn Chicken ($16) was so worth it for its price. Huge portions, crispy chicken bites, and the sauce was nicely tart.

Meanwhile, the Sambal Prawns ($14) had a super nice kick from the sambal. We absolutely enjoyed this dish, even if the number of prawns served was slightly disappointing (only four).
