If you’re looking to take your date to the next level, why not try something new? Millenia Walk’s Neighbourhood Socials, in celebration of World Creativity and Innovation Day, is the perfect place to start. 

From April to June, Millenia Walk will feature a series of curated programmes aimed at fostering innovation and bringing communities together. With a new theme every month, you and your date can discover new lifestyle activities, participate in workshops, enjoy intimate gatherings, and indulge in elevated shopping experiences.

This month, Millenia Walk has launched its inaugural Neighbourhood Socials and the theme is — coffee.

Coffee Appreciation Workshop by Joe & Dough

The coffee-related lifestyle activities is sure to appeal to both coffee lovers and those who are looking for novel experiences. From observing and learning about coffee bean showcases, latte art demonstrations and coffee-making techniques, to off-menu cocktail tastings and coffee scrub workshops, there’s something for everyone.

Only available on 26 April, enjoy a cocktail session at Highlander Bar. The bartenders have prepared a wide variety of premium cocktails, including a coffee-special, from 7-8pm. The ticket fee is $65.

Meanwhile, for a more family-friendly activity, head down to Millenia Walk’s The Great Hall on 29 April. Joe & Dough’s Coffee Appreciation Workshop includes a coffee bean showcase where they explain the differences between arabica and robusta coffee, how coffee is processed from bean to cup, and how to make a latte art. At the end of it all, participants will also get a chance to brew a cup of latte themselves.

This activity is limited to the first 150 cups, and you can secure your slots by presenting any same-day purchase from the mall by 2pm.

Pop-up market

If shopping is more your thing, check out the Brewing Good Times Pop-Up Market, in collaboration with Whytespace. With established international brands and emerging homegrown labels, the market offers an elevated shopping experience for those looking to discover quality brands.

Mental wellness games designed by Happiness Initiative

But that’s not all. The mall has also commissioned artist-in-residence Lydia Yang, also known as Oak & Bindi, to create and exhibit designs that will add to the liveliness of the mall. Witness live painting sessions by the artist at the Gatherspace, and redeem a collectible gift with minimum spending within Millenia Walk.
