Flat Lay for Revive, healthy snacks for breakfast in Singapore

There are a lot of reasons why breakfast is the most important meal of the day. They revolve around nutrition, calorie intake and diets. But what about the fact that breakfast foods simply taste the best?

Revive is a local brand that handcrafts healthy snacks, such as granola, nut butter and instant overnight oats, with only natural and nutrient-rich ingredients.

Revive’s Granola ($14.9) was lightly sweetened and tasted natural (sorry there really isn’t a less generic way to describe it). It also came in relatively bigger pieces. You can eat them as snack bars or simply crush them up into smaller pieces for yogurt and smoothie bowls, which is what I did.

Those who prefer it extra crispy can try their Earl Grey & Macadamia and Pistachio & Honey, which are baked with puff rice for an extra layer of texture.

Meanwhile, the Matcha, Cashew & Almond triumphed in terms of flavour with its subtle earthy tones.

One of my go-to breakfast is a yogurt bowl with assorted fruits, granola and a drizzle of honey. Occasionally, I add a spoonful of nut butter to spice things up.

Natural Nut Butters

A good indicator of natural nut butters is the layer of oil on top. Don’t be alarmed. Those are just the natural oils that have separated from the nut. Simply stir them in to create a creamy consistency before consuming.

Of course, you can just eat them straight or spread them on toast, but I like to finesse my breakfasts with fruits. The best combinations, in my opinion, are Peanut Butter ($10.9), cinnamon, banana slices and cacao nibs, and Almond Butter ($13.9) and blueberries.

Revive also formulated their ABC Butter ($14.9) which is a complex-tasting combination of almond, brazil and cashew.

Overnight Oats

Overnight oats is perhaps one of the easiest breakfasts to make. All you have to do is mix oats, milk and flavourings and pop it in the fridge for the next day. But somehow, Revive has managed to make it even easier with pre-packed sachets. All you have to do is mix the ingredients in the sachet with milk.

They come in Chocolate Banana, Pina Colada, Tropical Mango, and Peach & Cinnamon.

The ones in the photo are part of their Taster Set ($36.9) which comes in 8 sachets of 50g. Meanwhile, individual packaging costs $18.9.
