Watch out, a new leisure experience is coming to Southern Island! In the earlier times, Tiny Away Escape was the only attraction in Lazarus Island, offering little reason to travel, let alone spend the night there. However, times have changed.

Cosy stays at Tiny Away Escape @ Lazarus Island

Lazarus Island is set to welcome a brand new watersports centre, glamping experience, and convenience store, making it an ideal weekend getaway destination. 

1. Lazarus Sea Sport Centre by Camelot

Embark on a watersports experience with Lazarus sea sport centre by Camelot where you can enjoy non-motorized water sports such as stand-up paddling, kayaking, and floating yoga among the scenic waters of southern islands. Group kayaking tours are also available to book for team-building events or group-outing with your friends. The LSSC is set to support and preserve the island’s natural environment by utilising a designated launching zone to minimise seabed impact. 2. Into the Woods

Prepare yourself to immerse in a luxurious overnight glamping experience that enables you to enjoy the beachfront view in Lazarus Island. Into the Woods is set to open in Q4 of 2023 with nine glamping units for travellers and locals to explore different parts of Singapore. Each glamping unit is available for up to four guests to stay and reconnect with nature, along with  welcome kits of plantable stationery and watercolour painting set for guests to enjoy while experiencing their conscious and leisure stay.

3. SOL by BDC

The opening of SOL by Bespoke Dining Club (BDC), a convenient store that provides daily necessities and groceries is set to elevate your island visit experience.

Curated selections of ready-to-eat meals and ready-to-grill food items chosen by the Chef-owner Samuel Quan are available. You are welcome to enjoy a barbeque experience on the island with your friends as this store provides eco-friendly BBQ pits. In conjunction with the eco-tourism approach of the Southern Islands, the storefront was repurposed from shipping containers, and the culinary selections are locally sourced ingredients to support Singapore local businesses.

How to get to the Lazarus Island

A jetty by Sentosa Cove is available for you to access and visit these new spots for only a 15 minutes boat ride. The jetty will help you reach not only Lazarus Island, but also Seringat Island, Kias Island, and St. John’s Island. Full information of ferry schedules and bookings are available online.
