The annual vibrant Archifest 2023 is back to take over Singapore’s art and culture scene.

This year’s Archifest’s theme is “Interim: Acts of Adaptation” reflecting on the adaptability and transitional state of Singapore with over 80 immersive workshops, cultural installation, special exhibitions, and games.

In this year’s Archicraft, embark on a festive journey where you can participate in crafting mosaic art, Japanese paper cutting, learn to create malay batik, and many more available in the Curbside Crafters.

3 standout DIY workshops to sign up for

The line up of the workshop includes Fusion Fragments ($50), where you can discover the unique history of mosaic tiles and create your own eco-friendly masterpiece. Experience with different tiles, techniques, and customise the tiles according to your own taste.

This workshop will happen on 21 October from 4pm to 7pm, so don;’t miss out!

Alternatively, prepare yourself to indulge in Japanese art of Kiri-e to create your own complex and delicate paper cutting artworks at Paper Play ($35). This activity encourages you to creatively express yourself in crafting your own intricate paper designs

This workshop will be conducted on 21 October from 11am to 2pm.

Finally, learn on how to create Malay batik with adaptive techniques with Batik Basics ($35). Immerse in the history of batik, learn about the traditional hot wax, and choose your own traditional motifs to create your own Batik tote bag.

This workshop will be conducted on 22 October from 12pm to 2pm.
