This new interactive dining experience is not getting the hype it deserves, and it’s a shame.
LUCE, the Italian restaurant under InterContinental Singapore, has just launched their brand new dining experience — Banquet of Hoshena.
This immersive journey takes you through an elaborate narrative, enhanced by state-of-the-art 3D visuals, image mapping, and experiential props, all while savoring a 7-course meal.
It’s available daily from 7pm to 9pm, at $138 per adult for the regular menu and vegetarian menu, while the kids menu (8-10 years old) cost $88.
Our honest review of Banquet of Hoshena at LUCE
So, is the Banquet of Hoshena worth the price? The short answer: absolutely.
A 7-course meal of this caliber — from one of Singapore’s top Italian restaurants, LUCE — could easily justify the $138 price tag on its own. But with “no extra cost”, you also get an immersive entertainment experience layered on top, making it an even greater value.
The both of us had a great time, deciphering how the food corresponds to the storyline, and more importantly, experiencing all the magic that unfolds right in front of our eyes. It was truly a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
How the dining experience works?
Without spoiling the dining experience, we’ll be omitting important plot twists in the storyline and the specifics of the dishes served.

The story begins as you’re whisked away to the mystical land of Hoshena — a realm far beyond our own. Humans threaten to invade the kingdom of Hoshena, plaguing the land and its citizens with negative emotions like fear, anger and sadness, and in a desperate attempt, the King inadvertently banished positivity itself.
As requested by the Queen herself, you embark on a noble quest to save the kingdom.

Each dish corresponds with the mood of the story. For instance, when ‘anger’ sweeps through the land, you’re presented with a spicy dish that captures the fiery essence of that emotion.
Throughout the meal, the table comes alive with flashes of lightning, volcanic eruptions, and more. You can even interact with these elements, allowing the story to unfold as you dine.
Location: 80 Middle Rd, Singapore 188966
