The One Holland Village development made an unusually serious commitment to public art, and the results are worth seeking out.

Warabimochi Kamakura landed in Singapore in early 2024 and the flagship One Holland Village outlet has been busy ever since. The signature dessert is warabimochi — a jelly-soft, translucent sweet made from bracken starch, served chilled and dusted with kinako (roasted soybean flour) or matcha. It’s lighter than you expect and far more interesting than the queue would suggest.
