Gordon Ramsay’s famous Beef Wellington is not surprise to many, but have you ever savoured the exquisite flavours of a Black Cod Wellington?

As part of Worldwide Wellington Month, Bread Street Kitchen Singapore is launching its limited-time Black Cod Wellington, available from 4 to 31 October 2023.

The Black Cod Wellington is part of the The Wellington Experience ($98++ per person), a
special three-course menu, with a sommelier wine pairing option with an additional $48++.

You can choose between a sharp and tangy Roasted Beef Tonnato or a mild, earthy Seabass Carpaccio as your starter.

For mains, while you can pick the safe option — the iconic Beef Wellington — this might be the only time you get to try a Black Cod Wellington. A thick meaty piece of cod that is perfectly cooked — flakey and tender — is wrapped in a scallop paste and buttery pastry. It’s paired with a smooth mash, crunchy broccolini, and an aromatic moilee sauce, which is similar to a mild curry.

Lastly, end the meal with their iconic Sticky Toffee Pudding.

If that’s not enough dessert, you can also indulge in a ridiculously decadent Chocolate Wellington ($32++) from their a la carte menu. The same buttery pastry we know and love envelops a thin layer of pancake, which holds a pool of dark chocolate. This is perfect for sharing, and perfect if you’re dining with your kids.

Aside from the novel Wellington variations, The Wellington Experience also provides you the opportunity to enjoy the Beef Wellington (or the Cod Wellington) in a single portion. Otherwise, you could only order it as a whole log, which is suitable for a group of four.
