This Mother’s Day, Cosford Container Park is cranking up the celebrations with an unforgettable weekend full of creativity, indulgence, and fantasy. On 10-11 May 2025, the WKND MRKT: Mother’s Day Edition transforms the park into a vibrant family-friendly festival.

Last-minute Mother’s Day gift shopping
Kick off the festivities by exploring the bustling market — it’s the perfect chance for those who haven’t prepared a Mother’s Day gift yet. With an eclectic mix of vendors offering handmade crafts, artisanal gifts, and unique lifestyle products, there’s something thoughtful for every mum. Whether you’re shopping or just browsing, the atmosphere is warm, lively, and full of surprises.
Crepe flower making workshop
Get hands-on in a workshop that’s both fun and meaningful. The Crepe Flower Making Workshop lets participants craft delicate paper blooms. a lasting and personal gift for mum.
Each session comes with a complimentary freshly baked blueberry-filled muffin from Creamy Duck.
Held at 4.30pm on both days, it is priced at $10 per person, early registration is recommended.
Live mermaid meet-&greet
Step into a fairytale with the Live Mermaid Meet & Greet. Kids and adults alike can don shimmering mermaid tails, pose for a professional underwater-themed photoshoot, and chat with the stunning mermaids to learn more about life “under the sea.” It’s a dreamy, interactive experience that brings fantasies to life.
Sunset live band
As the sun sets, the celebration continues with live band performances from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Unwind with music, food, and drinks while enjoying Cosford’s Container Park’s iconic view, watch planes descend onto the nearby runway, right in front of the park.
