Funan Mall, Singapore’s dynamic lifestyle and retail hub, is set to dazzle visitors with its fourth annual mall-wide art activation, Creative Intersections: Traces of Dragons. Coinciding with Singapore Art Week, the Funan dragon exhibition is available from 19 January to 25 February 2024.

To mark the year of the dragon, Funan is turning into a lively hub with a mix of art installations, performances, and interactive workshops. Funan’s different spaces transform and divided into six themes: Craft, Chic, Fit, Play, Taste, and Tech. Collaborating with over 16 artists and retail brands like CHOKMAH, LiHO TEA, RAZERTM, and Wild Rice, the event blends heritage, culture, and creativity.

The partnership between Funan and Vertical Submarine features 16 artists collaborating with multiple brands to create the dragon-lore exhibition while also blending local art and culture. From Lenskart’s chic designs to RAZERTM’s tech-infused innovations, each brand pairing reflects the creative vision of the artists.

Highlighting the Lunar New Year, Funan brings an animated light installation called the Dance of the Dragon presented by CapitaLand and Tell Your Children. Running from 18 January to 4 March 2024 on Level 1 Atrium, don’t miss the 10-minutes light show playing every 30 minutes, featuring a vibrant digital animation of the dragon.

The spot will also feature an augmented reality (AR) element, developed during a mentorship program between Nikkei and Temasek Polytechnic students.
