Brought to you by the National Gallery Singapore, this vibrant arts and lifestyle festival is set to captivate audiences with a dynamic lineup of over 60 artworks and programmes spread across the iconic Civic District.

What to expect at Light to Night 2024

Under the theme ‘Reimagine’, Light to Night 2024 challenges you to reshape your perceptions of art and the world around them.

Breaking the taboo of touching artworks, the festival introduces interactive works that encourage audiences to become an integral part of the art itself.

One standout artwork is Ping Pong Go-Round, created by local performance artist Lee Wen, where friends, families, and strangers come together for an unorthodox game of table tennis. But that’s not all.

As the marquee event of Singapore Art Week, Light to Night showcases the ingenuity of Singapore and Southeast Asia artists, challenging them to expand their creative boundaries and explore new mediums.

Art Skins on Monuments, a crowd favourite, returns to adorn historical monuments with brand new commissioned artworks, featuring projection mapping artworks from local and international artists. Meanwhile, veteran and emerging artists alike, including Teo Eng Seng, Arahmaiani, Sarah Choo Jing, SISTRUM, and Knuckles & Notch, contribute to the spectacle with their innovative projection mapping artworks.
