Are you working in a dusty environment and are frustrated with breakouts, acne and constantly sneezing? Or are you a pet-owner who faces odour problems at home? AirMIGO’s 5-in-1 mini air purifier by Ette Bright could be the solution. But even if you’re not facing the above-mentioned issues, it is always good to have a purifier at home for cleaner and fresher air.
The airMIGO comes in two colours – grey and pink. With its simple and minimalistic design, it is a great complement to most furniture. In addition to that, it comes with five distinct features.
Nano filter
Just like most air purifiers in Singapore, the airMIGO contains a nano filter that can remove contaminants and dust particles in the air for a pollutant-free environment.
To switch on the purifier, connect the USB cable from the air purifier to a power source (portable battery can work too). There are three different speeds and a separate button to activate photocatalysis technology. The washable filter can be easily removed and can be used for up to ten months before it needs to be replaced.
Clogged pores and acne are easily caused by dust particles in the air. By maintaining cleaner air, you can reduce the chances of breakouts and clogged pores. Similarly, for those who are plagued with sinus or have a sensitive nose, this air purifier is also effective in minimising any irritation.
Air cooling effect
The purifier already comes with a basic air cooling effect. But if that is not cooling enough on a hot day, pour some water through the funnel into the 460ml water tank. The cooling effect takes place through evaporation of the water in a cost-effective way. (Tip: Use ice water instead!)
It might be small, but it is a good alternative to a fan during desperate times (if your fan happened to be faulty!). And it can be used as an extra cooler for your pets too!
Photocatalysis Technology
Besides ventilating the surrounding air, the purifier comes with a photocatalysis technology which is ineffective in removing odour and inhibiting microbial growth through the inbuilt UV-LED light.
To activate this, simply spray 2-3 pumps of the photocatalyst solution onto both sides of the removable filter and switch on the UV-LED light. Reapply every 1-2 weeks. This is a really useful function for those with pets at home.
Air Humidifier
If you’re always in an air-conditioned environment, the air may get really dry, which could cause potential skin problems such as dryness and dullness. With the humidifier function, moisture is added into the air simultaneously. As such, you can look forward to smoother and softer skin in the long run!
Aromatherapy
If you still think that the above features are not enough, the airMIGO can even work as a aroma diffuser as well! Put a few drops of essential oil of your choice into the same water tank through the funnel.
Here are some benefits of different essential oils, based on Healthline.
- Peppermint: Boosts energy and help with digestion.
- Lavender: Relieves stress.
- Sandalwood: Calms nerves and help with focus.
- Bergamot: Reduces stress and improve skin conditions like eczema.
- Rose: Improves mood and reduce anxiety.
- Chamomile: Improves mood and relaxation.
- Ylang-Ylang: Treats headaches, nausea and skin conditions.
- Tea Tree: Fights infections and boost immunity.
