Out of all the luxury hotels in Singapore, you’ll recognise PARKROYAL COLLECTION Hotels & Resorts for its natural and organic interior design. They have always embraced a sustainable approach to hospitality that fosters a reconnection with nature. But their aesthetics is not just for show.

PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay has just launched its Eco Wellness programme to inspire conscious living and personal wellness.

Every good day starts with a good night’s sleep

The perfect day begins with restful sleep. Everybody has a different ritual before going to bed. Some might workout, others might read a book; although, most people would just scroll on their social media.

However, quality sleep can be easily — and naturally — achieved through aromatic herbs. You can light a candle, or massage essential oils onto your skin, or request for PARKROYAL COLLECTION’s Sleep Ritual turndown service.

Hotel guests will find a teapot in their room, accompanied by a small jar of honey, and a bundle of herbs that are harvested from their Urban Farm. Some of their soothing herbs include rosemary, thyme, mint, and if you’re lucky — the passionfruit marigold. Guests can rub the leaves to release their aroma before brewing them in the pot.

This service is available for guests COLLECTION Club Rooms and higher categories, and Titanium and Platinum members of Pan Pacific DISCOVERY.

Meals for the conscious diner

Aside from personal wellness, the hotel is also committed to sustainability and healthy consumption.

Head down to Peppermint, offering the best flavours from around the world through a healthful farm-to-table cuisine.

Peppermint’s refreshed menu includes the use of sustainably and locally-sourced ingredients, most of which are harvested from the Urban Farm located right beside the restaurant. Hotel guests are allowed to explore the farm.

We started the meal with a special recipe from Charlotte Mei, a nutritionist. The Pulled-Mushrooms Taco is an off-menu dish that was created solely for an event. It’s flavourful and meaty. While it’s no longer available for order, you can try to make it yourself at home with this easy-to-follow recipe.

For mains, we had the Pan-seared Farmed Barramundi Fillet ($28). Perfectly seared, well-seasoned. It was a mix of so many flavours. The fish had a naturally earthy-undertones and it was glazed with a sweet and savoury honey soy sauce. It also comes with a tart and creamy citrus cream sauce that really elevates the whole dish.

The barramundi is paired with cauliflower “rice” and fresh garden greens.

For dessert, we had the Sago with Gula Melaka in Coconut ($16)
