From 24 March to 7 May, Plaza Singapura is hosting Project Green, a sustainability showcase by CapitaLand Malls. With a myriad of product showcases, engaging eco-workshops and exclusive brand deals, there’s something for everyone!

You heard us right.

Homegrown company, EcoRanger, is organising their Food Waste Upcycling Workshop on 1 and 2 April, from 2 to 3pm.

Here, you’ll learn how to turn food and cooking scraps into organic fertiliser for your home gardens, and even make your own multi-purpose liquid detergent. If you have a green thumb, this is definitely an event you won’t want to miss.

Create a capsule wardrobe (fully booked)

After attending the DMK x Urban Revivo Styling Masterclass (8 April, 2 to 3pm), you’ll never run out of outfits again.

At this workshop, you’ll learn how to create a capsule wardrobe that will stay in style no matter the season. Furthermore, you’ll pick up styling tips that will help you create endless outfit variations, all with the same pieces!

Get artsy with these workshops

These DIY workshops are the perfect form of self-care for anyone artsy. The Preserved Floral Workshop and Upcycle Fabric Coaster Workshop are incredibly therapeutic activities that are sure to help you unwind after a busy week.

First up, FloralElf brings you the Preserved Floral Workshop on 16 April, from 2 to 3pm.

You’ll get to use recycled dried flowers to make your own floral arrangement, which can be used as decorations that will brighten up your home, or as gifts for your loved ones. The best part is — these flowers will last forever.

For those looking for something more zen, MUJI’s Upcycle Fabric Coaster Workshop (14 to 16 April, 3 to 5pm) will teach you to upcycle unwanted cloth into unique coasters that will give your home a new layer of personality. You can replicate the same technique to make more coasters and, if you’re up for a challenge, even your own rug.

Shopping for new clothes? Here are some brands with sustainable options that come with exclusive discounts for eco-conscious consumers like yourself.
