The year’s theme is Raya Gemilang, which means ‘glorious feast’. Two concept zones will be on offer, starting with Souq City. This market will be situated around Wisma Geylang Serai and is the perfect place to find all sorts of food, drink, and retail items. Singaporeans have long complained about the rising prices of dishes at food festivals, which affordability is a big theme in this year’s bazaar.

You can even spread the joy of the season by contributing to the community shelves, which will be available in Souq City for non-perishable halal food and clothing.

The second concept is the Street Bazaar, which will stretch from Geylang Serai Market to the area beside Tanjong Katong Complex. There will be three distinct themes on offer here, as well as interactive art installations.

Bazaar Raya Geylang Serai 2023 kicks off on 17 March, coinciding with the annual Hari Raya light-up in Geylang Serai. The festival market will be open every day from 10am to 11.59pm, with an extension until 6am leading up to Hari Raya on 21 April.
