Gimmicky or actually tasty?
If you’re wondering if the Singapura Otter is worth your money, we’ve tried a few of their snacks, and here’s what we think about them.

The Otter Monaka Wafer Biscuits with Traditional Kaya Jam ($18.9), came with two jars of kaya and wafers otter-shaped wafers. The wafers were so light and crispy. We’re not exaggerating when we say it’s the perfect wafer.
Meanwhile, the kaya came in Original and in Coconut Sugar. Both were great, but there’s nothing much to comment on — We feel that it’s pretty standard tasting. But if you want to elevate it, and really mimic that Singaporean breakfast, we recommend adding in a knob of butter!

Meanwhile, the Butter Sable Cookies were light and airy. Some people might expect it to be more buttery, but we’re fine with its lighter profile.
