Set against the dazzling backdrop of Marina Bay, this street circuit extravaganza promises high-octane action and unforgettable entertainment. You might have heard that this year’s Singapore Grand Prix has a slightly shorter race track due to the current redevelopment works at Marina Bay. However, just because the race tracks are shortened, doesn’t mean that the fun is diminished.

Happening from September 15 to 17, this year’s F1 weekend is packed with thrilling practice runs, the grand finale, and a range of F1-related events across the island; all promising to keep your heart racing.

Here’s everything you will need to know about this year’s F1, including the race dates and ticket packages, as well as a rundown of F1 events and promotions you can enjoy during the race period.

The F1 tickets are split into two categories: Walkabout and Grandstand. Walkabout tickets are then further split into Premier Walkabout and Zone 4 Walkabout. Essentially, the former provides you access across all four zones, as well as various entertainment and eateries across Circuit Park, while the latter is restricted to the designated viewing platforms in Zone 4. However, if you are excited to catch the performances, On the other hand, Grandstand tickets allocates you to the designated seats by the trackside.

Tickets start from $128 a day for a 1-day walkabout ticket. All three-day packages are currently sold out.

2. Levelled-up Racing at HyperDrive

Instead of spectating, step into the thrilling world of racing and gaming fusion at HyperDrive, Asia’s pioneering indoor gamified electric Go-Kart circuit.

Imagine real-life racing mixed with the strategy of virtual gaming. Racers can gather “weapons” and “boosters” to outmaneuver their rivals. Located in the newly-opened entertainment haven, The Palawan @ Sentosa, the exhilarating experience unfolds on a three-level racetrack boasting 308 metres of straightaways and 14 electrifying turns. Prepare to unleash special powers like the “Missile!” which targets the racer ahead, momentarily slowing them down, and the “Boost!” that propels you ahead with a burst of speed.

From 25 August to 10 September, go-kart players can compete with one another to win an exclusive opportunity — a tour of the Red Bull Racing Garage at the F1 Pit Building during race weekend. Simply clock in your fastest laps, and the top eight participants will qualify for the final showdown on 13 September to win the grand prize. Runner-ups will win Red Bull Racing merchandise.

3. Marina Square’s Junior Champion Drivers

For the younger racers, Marina Square is revving up the excitement during F1 Singapore with an exclusive opportunity for kids aged 4 to 9 years old.

With a minimum spend at Marina Square, these budding racers can enjoy a thrilling free ride. As they navigate the track, they’ll collect achievement stamps for each completed ride. The race season concludes with a bang, as the top ten racers with the most stamps will be crowned as Marina Square’s Junior Champion Drivers, earning themselves fantastic prizes and most importantly, eternal glory.

To claim your ride, simply Present your shopping receipt at the Central Atrium to enjoy the ride and collect your Race Champion Card to participate in “Be Our Junior Champion Driver 2023.” Each ride will earn a stamp on the card. From Tuesday to Friday, all you need is a minimum spend of $10 in the mall to enjoy a free ride. meanwhile, on the weekends, you’ll need a $20 minimum spend.
