If convenience matters to you, Garner Hotel Pattaya Central is an easy choice of travel accommodation.
As part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, it offers a reliable level of comfort without feeling overly polished (especially if you’re not looking to splurge on your stay).
But more important, it’s located right in the heart of the city. You’ll be able access Pattaya’s must-visit attractions such as Sanctuary of Truth, Art in Paradise, Pattaya Beach, and Tiffany’s Show easily, which makes it especially practical for first-time visitors or short stays.

We stayed in a Standard Queen Room (22 sqm), and for the price point at about ฿1215 (SGD $50), the experience was surprisingly pleasant.
The space was cosy and unpretentious, with just a few photo frames and gold-plated decors to elevate the space without trying too hard. The room was also relatively spacious for the price point, especially the toilet.

The shower area was generously sized, and after days of battling dry and tangled hair in Thailand’s heat, having conditioner provided was a small but genuinely appreciated detail.

But what we really appreciated about Garner Hotel Pattaya Central was how thoughtful they were.
There’s a vending machine at the lobby stocked with snacks and cup noodles, perfect for late-night cravings or quick fixes between plans. If that’s not enough, a 7-Eleven sits just around the corner.
One facility that really earned its keep during our stay was the self-service laundry. We had already planned to wash clothes mid-trip, so finding washing and drying machines on-site felt like a win. Washing costs ฿60 and drying ฿70, with detergent sachets available for ฿10. One small tip: prepare ฿10coins in advance, as the reception may not always have enough change.

Breakfast was also included, with a decent spread and a fresh egg station. While we personally prefer hunting down local breakfast spots or nearby cafes when in Thailand, the hotel’s breakfast does the job if you’re simply looking for a no-frills option to fuel up.
Up on the rooftop, you’ll find both a pool and a gym. The gym is on the smaller side, but it’s functional enough for a short workout if you’re trying to stay active while travelling. Drivers should note that there’s a basement car park, though spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

Overall, Garner Hotel Pattaya Central feels best suited for travellers who value location and affordability over luxury frills.
