If you are an art lover or enjoying posing for photos, you have to visit Thailand’s first 3D museum with over 150 artworks.

But this isn’t your average museum. Augmented reality is incorporated into their artworks. All you have to do is download the Art in Paradise app on your phone (scan the QR code at the entrance) to watch th artworks come to life. Hop over waterfalls, fight with a giant octopus, and take a boat ride down the canals in Venice.

The museum spans over 5,800 sq ft, so be prepared to stay here for at least an hour.

There is nothing sweeter and more colourful than Great & Grand Sweet Destination, a fun-filled Instagrammable candy land. You can spot candies, desserts like macarons, and bakes like cupcakes and donuts at every corner and turn.

The sculptures are beautifully made, some which you can climb on and slide down. Exploring under the sweltering heat might not be the most ideal, but at least you get the nicest photos at this attraction.

Before leaving, stop by at their dessert parlour and beverage cafe to recharge. You can a huge variety of ice-cream flavours that are delicious and indulgent, starting from 77 baht per scoop.

8. Fairy Sweet Village

As soon as I entered Fairy Sweet Village, it felt like I had stepped into the storybook of ‘Hansel and Gretel’, where the candy land is filled with vibrant, life-sized candy canes, lollipops, cakes and every other colourful dessert items you can think of.

It was just like Great & Grand Sweet Destination, but there are fewer photo opportunities here. In contrast, the cafe, resembling a gigantic gingerbread house, serves a wider variety of food. The former was limited to ice cream, while the latter comprises milkshakes, cakes, ice-cream and waffles, and more. Not to mention, the desserts were Insta-worthy!

10. Tiffany’s Show

Be entertained by Thailand’s largest and most popular Beauty Pageant for Thai-national transgender & transvestites — the Tiffany Show. This is also the original transvestite cabaret show in Thailand, originating from Pattaya.

The performance showcases various live singing and dancing based on different cultures and ethnicity across the world, inspired by country themes like Thailand, Vietnam, Chinese, Italy, and more. The entire performance is about 1 hour 10 min.

While you are leaving the performance hall, the performers will line up at the fountain at the entrance — a popular photo spot, by the way — where you are able to take photos with them. However, each photo costs at least 100 baht per person.

If you arrive at the Tiffany’s Show early, you can also head down to the shooting range to show off your skills. The prices per person starts from 700 baht onwards.

Embark on a 4-hour squid fishing and dining journey at Pattaya’s Tappia Floating Cafe.

The attraction starts off with a jetty ride from the Bali Hai Pier, which departs every 30 minutes. The moment you board the floating platform, it’s free and easy. You can sit back and enjoy the sunset or dive right into it and catch a few squids. It takes patience, and we caught an average of three squids each in an hour.

After each catch, the staff will ring a bell and offer to prepare your haul, either as sashimi or grilled, according to your preference. Yes, it’s free of charge, a small reward for your efforts! However, don’t worry if you didn’t manage to catch any. Or, if you would much rather sit back and enjoy the cool ocean breeze, you can just order your food directly from the kitchen.
