It’s no doubt Pattaya is known for their beaches, but not all hotels offer the same stunning views.
Holiday Inn Pattaya as part of IHG Hotels & Resorts seriously deserves a spot on your hotel consideration list, but the view isn’t the only aspect worth talking about.
Our honest review of Holiday Inn Pattaya
We heard that their rooms are newly-renovated, and we were impressed.

The King Standard Pattaya Beach View (Bay Tower) that we were staying at were decked in blue and brown tones, representing the sea and sand, paired with subtle wave designs throughout. I honestly really love the ocean-theme of this hotel.

The room was spacious, at 33 sqm, complete with a study desk, armchair, smart TV, and a private balcony overlooking Pattaya Bay, which is hands down my favourite part of the stay. I might get hate for this, but I didn’t even manage to visit the beaches in Pattaya… but this view more than made up for it!

The lobby instantly impressed me with its massive open space, high ceilings and a beautiful wave-like embroidery design on the walls, which honestly was very fitting for a beachside hotel.
Amenities and facilities

If you’re travelling with kids, you should plan at least half a day to enjoy the pool area because it’s insane. The entire swimming pool is designed around an underwater theme, complete with a kids’ pool featuring a giant octopus wrapped around a pillar and a super fun-looking slide (it tempted me too). It honestly feels like a mini water park.

This hotel is extremely kid-friendly too, offering Pattaya’s Kids Club, drop-in childcare, and the Kids Stay & Eat Free programme. There’s also a huge 455-sqm indoor playground with interactive play zones, a bounce room, educational activities, an art & craft corner and a mini room for toddlers.

Meanwhile, adults can enjoy a well-equipped gym, and a spa for winding down after a long day out. On certain days, the hotel even hosts outdoor yoga sessions with amazing vibes. There’s also a second swimming pool overlooking the beach view, which is mainly for adults use.
Breakfast felt like a luxury, offering an impressive international spread featuring Thai, Western, Korean, Indian, and more. From egg dishes and noodles to cooked meals, homemade yoghurt, cereals, breads, and pastries, the variety was amazing. Plus, the restaurant is huge, so it never felt crowded during breakfast hours.
