Best matcha cafe in Bangkok? Head down to Ksana Cafe.
Located conveniently in the city centre, Ksana Matcha Bangkok offers a serene escape from the city’s metallic skyline.
The cafe’s organic and cosy interior creates a comforting atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat for matcha lovers and those seeking a relaxing spot to unwind.
Food & drinks at Ksana
The menu at Ksana is simple — matcha, hojicha, and wagashi, which is a Japanese one-bite sweet that is usually paired with tea.

Starting from 140 baht ($6.5), you can choose from three types of matchas and even a ceremonial grade hojicha.
For purists, we recommend spending just a bit more to enjoy their ceremonial matcha. The Coastal Breeze has a punchier, almost savoury taste. Meanwhile, the Silenced Highland has a nuttier profile, which is more similar to the ones you’ll typically find in Singapore’s cafes.
Personally, I’d think that the Coastal Breeze would go well as a koicha, which is a thick matcha and water mix — think of it as an espresso version of matcha — due to its bolder flavours.
But if you prefer matcha lattes, the nuttier undertones of the Silenced Highland would pair better with fresh milk

Ksana’s menu also includes three types of traditional Japanese desserts to go with your matcha.
The Yokan (140 baht) is a firm sweet with red bean paste as the star. The Kingyokukan (140 baht) refreshing jelly mixed with yuzu, offering a delightful taste of tradition from Japan’s Edo period. Lastly, the Nerikari (140 baht) is an adorable dumpling shape mochi with a white bean and red bean paste filling.
Ambience at Ksana

For the Globetrotters, Ksana’s design is very similar to Perception Cafe in Seoul, South Korea.
However, instead of wooden panels, the walls here are crafted with a light-weight, paper mache-sort of material.
While aesthetic, the seats are not the most comfortable to lie back on.
