SōngHè Plus x Burnt Cones launches Singapore’s first Rice Gelato for $1

SōngHè Plus x Burnt Cones pandan rice gelato cup topped with two Pocky sticks arranged as chopsticks, Singapore

Singapore’s first rice gelato is arriving on the most fitting day possible: Labour Day.

Burnt Cones and SōngHè Plus have teamed up to turn enriched fragrant rice into a pandan-infused vanilla gelato — and on 1 May 2026 from 3pm to 8pm, it’s just $1 a cup. After that, it’s $6 from 2 May to 31 July.

What to expect for this collaboration?

The gelato is built on SōngHè Plus enriched fragrant rice — a blend of Thai Hom Mali grain fortified with dietary fibre, iron, zinc, and folate. Burnt Cones has worked it into a pandan-infused vanilla base that’s subtly floral and gently sweet.

According to an interview online, the texture is the interesting part: there’s a slight chew to it, a mochi-adjacent quality that makes each spoonful feel different from a standard dairy scoop.

Each cup comes topped with two chocolate Pocky sticks arranged to look like chopsticks.

Burnt Cones has been running creative gelato outlets across Singapore since 2017, from campus spots at NUS to a 24-hour CBD location at IOI Central Boulevard — so they know how to build a product that holds up. This is one of their more unusual flavour concepts, and it works. SōngHè Plus rice packs (2kg) are also available in-store at $8 during the campaign, if you want to take the pairing home.
