See, white folks, they like the blues just fine. They just don’t like the people who make it.
Sinners: Live arrives in Singapore on 5-6 September 2026, staged within the outdoor grounds of Little Island Brewing Co at Gillman Barracks. It is an 18+ immersive theatrical experience inspired by the film Sinners — Delta blues, vampires, the American Deep South in 1932.
General admission tickets start at $68, with concession rates from $38 for students and those on restricted incomes. Tickets are at sinners.live.
What to expect at Sinners: Live?
On arrival, you choose your storyline.
The Juke Joint follows the opening night at Smoke and Stack Moore’s lumber mill, where Delta blues fill the air before things spiral into something darker. Meanwhile, Remmick’s Story takes you outside on a separate path — Irish folk music, seduction, and a slow procession toward the juke joint from the shadows.
Both narratives run simultaneously across the venue and converge at the same shared finale, which means if you go with a friend and split up, you will both experience a different version of the same night and end up in the same place.
If you’re hardcore enough, head down for both nights and experience both stories.

Every performer stays in character from the moment you arrive. Your phone is sealed in a pouch before you enter — returned at the end — and the organisers mean it. Between scenes, Southern-inspired food and drinks are served exclusively for the event. Period attire from the 1930s is strongly encouraged, not just a nice-to-have; the production is clearly building a world and wants you in it.

This experience is located at is Little Island Brewing Co, which gives the production the outdoor grounds of Gillman Barracks — former British colonial barracks turned arts cluster — as its backdrop. The setting does a lot of the atmospheric work before anyone says a line. The whole experience runs about two and a half hours.
Why it’s worth going?
Immersive theatre in Singapore tends to land somewhere between dinner-with-actors and escape-room-with-props. Sinners: Live is neither.
The production is built around one of the most talked-about films of 2025 — Coogler’s vampire-blues story set in the American South — and it is staging an original two-storyline show at one of Singapore’s better outdoor venues. f you liked the film, or you are looking for something genuinely different on a September weekend, this is the one to book. Tickets are on sale now at sinners.live — the run is two nights only.
FAQ
- Do I need to have watched the film Sinners to enjoy this?
It helps to know the general plot, but this event is an original immersive production, not a scene-by-scene retelling. You do not need to have seen the film to follow either storyline. In fact, it might be more exciting if you know nothing.
- Which storyline should I choose at Sinners: Live?
Both storylines converge at the same finale, so there is no wrong choice. The Juke Joint stays inside the lumber mill with Delta blues and the main party; Remmick’s Story takes you on a darker outdoor path. Going with a friend and splitting up at the door is one way to experience both sides.
