The Singapore Grand Prix is back on Marina Bay’s streets from 9–11 October.
Marina Bay is one of the most restaurant-dense precincts in Singapore, and most of what’s here holds up well outside of race weekend too. The problem is that the same names get recycled every year — the MBS anchors, the rooftop bars, the Michelin spots — while a meaningful number of genuinely good places go unmentioned.
If you’re looking for the best restaurants near the circuit to dine at during the F1 weekend, we’ve got 30 options for you.
This guide splits into three parts: the places most people haven’t found yet, the well-covered anchors, and affordable options.
The less-known restaurants near the circuit
1. Ginza Sushi Arai

Tokyo’s most decorated sushi restaurant makes its first international move, and it landed five minutes from Turn 1.
Sushi Arai has won the Tabelog Gold Award six consecutive times — in Tokyo’s restaurant culture, that’s as close to untouchable as a sushi counter gets. The Singapore outpost at Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay runs one dinner seating nightly at 6:30pm: eight seats at the counter, with seafood flown in from Toyosu Market daily.
Location: 6 Raffles Blvd, #04-600, Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay, Singapore 339594
Opening hours:
Monday: Closed
Tue-Sun: 6:30pm (one seating)
2. Stags Head Steakhouse

The team behind Bistecca opened a second restaurant at Pan Pacific Marina Bay in February 2026, and the format is more serious than the name suggests.
Stags Head runs with in-house butchering and large-format cuts as the centrepiece — Wagyu tomahawk and dry-aged porterhouse — in a Neo-Victorian room with checkered marble floors and dark wood panelling.
Location: 7 Raffles Blvd, Level 3, Pan Pacific Marina Bay, Singapore 039595
Opening hours: 11:30am-2:30pm, 5-10pm
3. Maison Boulud

Daniel Boulud already has a restaurant at Marina Bay Sands. Maison Boulud is the one he actually wanted to open here.
The second Maison Boulud globally — after the original in Montreal — opened on The Shoppes’ waterfront promenade in February 2026, designed by Joyce Wang. The menu runs French classics: Moules Frites, Rossini, fresh-caught seafood in straightforward preparations. The waterfront terrace faces the circuit directly; the weekend lunch hours make it a proper pre-race option.
Location: The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, #B1-15 & #01-83, 10 Bayfront Ave, Singapore 018956
Opening hours:
Mon-Thu: 12-10pm
Friday: 12-10:30pm
Saturday: 11:30am-10:30pm
Sunday: 11:30am-10pm
4. Chimi’s Especial

The circuit runs directly past the terrace — and this is the only place on it serving Venezuelan Cocuy.
The Chimichanga Group opened this Pan-Latin concept at Customs House in March 2026: 180 seats across an indoor-outdoor space with a direct Marina Bay waterfront view at the Collyer Quay stretch of Turn 19–20. The menu covers Peru, Argentina, Venezuela and Puerto Rico. The Peruvian Pollo a la Brasa is the call; the Cocuy is the conversation starter.
Location: 70 Collyer Quay, Customs House, Singapore 049323
Opening hours:
Mon-Thu: 11:30am-11pm
Friday: 11:30am-12am
Sat-Sun: 3-11pm
5. Jin Ting Wan
Jin Ting Wan is MBS’s first Chinese fine dining concept developed entirely in-house, wrapped in an exquisite Song Dynasty-inspired interior. Look forward to dim sum and high-end Chinese dishes. In addition to Chinese wine list sourced from Guangdong producers, you can also complement your meals with a tea pairing service by a dedicated tea master.
Location: 10 Bayfront Ave, Hotel Tower 1, Level 55, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore 018956
Opening hours: 11:30am-3pm, 5:30-10pm
6. Baia

A rooftop terrace with Marina Bay Sands in the frame, and nothing on the menu over $30.
The ilLido Group’s Esplanade rooftop is easier to walk past than it should be — Level 4 of a shopping mall doesn’t announce itself. Get up there and the skyline settles any doubts. The weekday three-course lunch runs at $28; all cocktails and food stay under $30 at dinner.
Location: Esplanade Mall, Level 4, 8 Raffles Ave, Singapore 039802
Opening hours:
Monday: 11:30am-12am
Tue-Thu: 11:30am-1am
Fri-Sat: 11:30am-2am
Sunday: 11:30am-12am
7. Sushidan

The best value sushi counter near the circuit is located just at Raffles City.
Sushidan runs Edomae-style sushi at a price point that makes no sense until you’re sitting at it: an omakase set at $19.9 — three nigiri, a handroll, chawanmushi, miso soup, three mini donburi — and an a la carte menu where individual pieces start at $1.9.
Location: 252 North Bridge Rd, #B1-44C, Raffles City Shopping Centre, Singapore 179103
Opening hours: 11am-10pm
8. Toku Nori

The cult Telok Ayer handroll bar that built its entire following without press coverage has a second outlet, and this one adds a sushi omakase counter.
Toku Nori’s Lorong Telok expansion seats 26, running handrolls from $4 alongside the counter omakase not available at the original.
Location: 13 Lorong Telok, Singapore 049026
Opening hours:
Monday: Closed
Tue-Sun: 12-2:30pm, 5:30-11pm
9. Pout Rooftop Cafe

CMO Building’s sixth floor has one of the better views in the CBD, and most people have no idea it’s there.
Pout opened in Chinatown with Seoul-aesthetic interiors and an unobstructed sightline to Marina Bay Sands and Parliament House. Not sure what to get? The Honeycomb Latte ($6.9) and Kouign Amman ($8) are the picks.
It’s walk-ins only; go early on weekdays.
Location: 50 South Bridge Rd, #06-00, CMO Building, Singapore 058682
Opening hours: 9am-5:30pm
10. Shinya Izakaya

Most restaurants near the circuit close before the after-party starts. Shinya runs until 3am.
The Boat Quay izakaya opens at noon and runs straight through to 3am with a charcoal grill on through the whole service. The format is 80 seats plus three private rooms; air-flown sashimi is the anchor and a solid yakitori selection.
Location: 79 Boat Quay, Singapore 049867
Opening hours: 12pm-3am

The MBS rooftop finished a 15th-anniversary renovation in 2025 and came back as Tatler’s Best Spotlight Restaurant 2026.

Tetsuya Wakuda’s counter dining at MBS is one of the most consistent fine dining experiences in Singapore, and it’s the best way to celebrate F1 weekend.
The format is a two-part meal: canapes and champagne at the bar, then a 10-course counter dinner built around live ingredients and Japanese technique.
Reservations are non-negotiable.

Fri-Sat: 12-2:30pm, 6-10:30pm
Sunday: 12-2:30pm, 6-10pm
14. Bread Street Kitchen

Gordon Ramsay’s Singapore outpost is the most practical option at MBS for groups that can’t agree on anything.
The British-leaning menu is broad enough to work for most people, and let’s be real — who can say no to a Beef Wellington. The ambience is also surprisingly casual for those looking for a chill day out after the races.
Location: The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, 10 Bayfront Ave, Singapore 018956
Opening hours:
Mon-Fri: 12pm-12am
Sat-Sun: 11:30am-12am

18. Kinki

Six Michelin-recognised stalls in one CBD hawker, twelve minutes from the circuit on foot.

Location: 7 Maxwell Rd, Singapore 069111
Opening hours:
Mon-Sat: 7am-3pm
Sunday: Closed
25. Maxwell Food Centre
Tian Tian’s chicken rice queue is still the benchmark here, but you really can’t go wrong with the other eateries at Maxwell.

Mon-Sat: 7am-3:30pm

29. Chinatown Complex Food Centre
Two hundred stalls, most dishes under $8, and a craft beer stall in the middle of the hawker centre.
The scale is the argument for the slightly longer trip: 200-plus stalls across two floors with everything from Hokkien Mee to Teochew porridge, and Smith Street Taps serving craft beer from a stall like this is completely normal. Budget two hours and go hungry.
