I recently stayed at Hotel Clover Asoke, and honestly, it was such a fun little escape from Bangkok’s hectic city life.
It doesn’t belong to one of those huge chain hotels, which I actually preferred. It felt more personalised, and the interior designs — with artsy touches all around — and actual experience was more unique. Think dolphins on the ceiling, tropical vibes, a splash of zebra print in the rooms, quirky but tasteful in its own way!
Here’s our review of Hotel Clover Asoke.
Floating breakfast in the rooftop pool?

Let’s start with the absolute highlight: the floating breakfast. Was it the most practical way to enjoy breakfast? Not really — balancing a croissant while trying not to tip the tray over is definitely an experience.
But was it a vibe? Absolutely. Great for photos, and they actually give you private pool time for your breakfast slot, so you can soak up the peace (and take a million photos without strangers staring). Worth it for the memories alone!
Deep Sea Massage

I also treated myself to their Deep Sea Massage, which was a solid choice.
It’s a 60-minute full-body massage, and they go the extra mile with an underwater theme — every room has calming aquatic visuals and soothing ocean sounds on the TV. It was genuinely relaxing, and I left feeling like a much less tense version of myself.
The actual rooms

The rooms were comfy and thoughtfully equipped on top of its artistic decor. The shower pressure was next level (seriously, I’m picky about this and it passed with flying colours). Bonus points: they had not one but two hairdryers, plus a hair straightener. Little things like that make a big difference when you’re getting ready.
Breakfast and Dinner Options

Speaking of nights, dinner at the hotel was a bit of a surprise. There’s a good mix of Thai and international dishes. I went for the tom yum (super creamy and not too spicy since I asked for it mild) and a beef steak (pretty average, not gonna lie, but it did the job). The variety of choices was wild, I genuinely took a while to decide. If you’re just in the mood for drinks, their rooftop pool bar is also a nice spot to chill.

The normal breakfast buffet deserves a shout-out too! I wasn’t expecting much, but they delivered with hot food, fresh pastries, a salad and cheese bar, an egg station, noodle station, plus a fridge full of juices, yogurts and morning shooters. I love a good breakfast spread and they really nailed it.
Accessible Location – Asok
Lastly, the location is chef’s kiss. It’s a super easy walk to the BTS station and Terminal 21, which made getting around the city a breeze. Plus, there are loads of bars and restaurants nearby if you feel like exploring the local scene.

Overall, Hotel Clover Asoke felt like a charming and slightly artsy hideaway in the middle of Bangkok’s hustle and bustle.
