Frasers House, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Singapore review – The most luxurious stay at Bugis

Tucked in the heart of Bugis, Frasers House, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Singapore feels like a familiar landmark with a fresh new identity.

Formerly known as InterContinental Singapore, the hotel has since been rebranded under The Luxury Collection, and the transformation brings a renewed sense of understated luxury while staying true to its heritage roots.

Unique and thoughtful services

From the moment we stepped in, the space felt quietly elegant. The design leans into heritage influences, and even the corridors were beautifully styled. Our room carried the same sophisticated charm. We also loved that the hotel offers a pillow menu, so you can request different types of pillows to suit your comfort, one of those small but thoughtful touches that really elevates the stay.

Birthday Amenities

We were staying to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and the hotel made it feel extra special with their thoughtful amenities. There was an adorable three-tier “cake” made entirely of towels, alongside a real slice of cake, desserts, and even a printed photo of us in a frame. It was such a sweet, personal touch. (These can be arranged upon request, subject to cost and availability)

Other hotel facilities

The gym was spacious and well-equipped, more than enough for a proper workout. They also offer EMS classes by InterPulse Fitness, which are 45-minute high-intensity sessions designed to work over 90% of your muscles. If you prefer something slower, there’s also a smaller and more private space for yoga and stretching.

The swimming pool isn’t the most extravagant, but it has a relaxed and easygoing vibe. We spotted a few families enjoying themselves, and there’s also a pool bar if you’re just looking to grab a drink and unwind.

Weekly Jazz Night Performance

In the evening, we caught their Jazz Night Performance at The Lobby Lounge (held every Friday and Saturday), and it really elevated the whole stay. Tickets are sold at $38 each. With handcrafted cocktails inspired by the Bugis–Bras Basah neighbourhood and a menu of well-executed dishes, the atmosphere felt both lively and intimate. We especially loved the Chilli Crab Sliders and the tableside Beef Tartare.

Breakfast the next morning was easily one of the highlights. The variety was honestly impressive, in fact one of the widest we’ve seen. There was everything from hot and cold dishes to a DIY salad bar, waffles, pancakes, gelato, and even a full honeycomb for fresh honey. We were so thrilled, but we tried to save our stomach for the next exciting meal.

Even if you’re not staying here, LUCE is worth coming by for. Their Sunday brunch buffet is seriously indulgent, with highlights like a live risotto cheese wheel station, five types of tiramisu, and a carving station.
