Hanjip review
If you’re looking for a no-frills, high quality KBBQ restaurant with a good ambience, Hanjip is probably the one for you.
The meats are premium, the Korean mains and side dishes are surprisingly even better (shoutout to the crispy chicken wings). But, one aspect about the restaurant that stands out is its good service.
Hanjip set menu
For a value-for-money meal, opt for one of their set menus. We ordered the 4 Person Set Menu ($448), which includes a Hanjip Platter, choice of soup or stew, pancake, noodles, a side, and a dessert.

The Hanjip Platter includes four types of meat: Boneless Short Ribs, Pork Collar, Pork Belly and Ribeye.
You can also choose to add on dishes like Soy Marinated Crab ($88) and Spicy Stir-fried Octopus ($35).
The meats were so tender and juicy. Shoutout to the staff for cooking them so perfectly every time.

Meanwhile, for the mains and sides, we ordered the Ginseng Chicken (+$10), Kimchi Pancake, and Spicy Cold Noodle, and Steamed Egg.

While this isn’t in the set, we highly recommend ordering the Korean Fried Chicken Wings ($28).
Available in Original, Soy and Spicy, it was one of the juiciest wings we’ve ever had. The sauce obviously complements the chicken.
But don’t just take our word for it. Hanjip has over 2,000 reviews at 4.7 stars on Google.
