If you’ve run out of ways to pamper your furkid, QT Singapore’s heritage-inspired hotel in the heart of the CBD might just be your next favourite escape.
Formerly the iconic SO Sofitel Singapore, this elegant neo-classical building has been transformed into a luxury boutique hotel of bold colours, eclectic patterns and designer rooms, now refreshed with the hotel’s Pup Yeah! stay package for an elevated dog-friendly getaway.
How were the rooms?

We checked into the spacious 90sqm QT Premier Suite, complete with a plush King QT Dream Bed, huge bathtub, dual shower and sinks, Tom Dixon amenities, a wireless Bose speaker, and an impressive drinks cabinet (not inclusive) alongside the Nespresso and tea station.

Every suite comes equipped with an iPad that controls the lights, curtains, room service orders, gym/pool/restaurant bookings, and even your Netflix or Spotify connections, a welcome upgrade from fumbling with light switches.
QT’s pet-friendly rooms are also stocked with treats from Australia’s ST ARGO, a cosy CUB. pet bed, and premium New Zealand smith&burton grooming products including a waterless shampoo and cologne you can take home.

The in-room pup dining menu rivals human meals with dishes like Steak Tartare, Risotto, dog chews, and even a puppacino. If our dog’s persistent begging was any indication, it tasted as good as it sounded.

Beyond the pet-friendly rooms

The rooftop infinity pool, framed by surrounding skyscrapers, is petite but charming. Between dips you can lounge with a cocktail from the adjacent Rooftop Bar, where the tacos and fresh oysters were standouts.

For dinner, we opted for in-room dining since Cygnet Restaurant isn’t dog-friendly. And honestly, dining in our beautiful suite felt like the right call. The burger was juicy and excellent, though the Asian mains were less impressive. Breakfast is a la carte and delivered to the room as well, and the Mee Goreng surprisingly beat several Asian dishes from the night before.

Beyond the hotel, convenience is unbeatable. Lau Pa Sat sits directly opposite, Maxwell Food Centre is a short stroll away, and the neighbourhood is packed with cafes, restaurants, and even a 7-Eleven for late-night cravings. And if the Premier Suite feels like too much of a splurge, QT’s other bespoke designer rooms offer similar style and flair at a friendlier price point.

For those visiting during the holidays, QT Singapore is also rolling out festive programming this Christmas. Guests can join a lively Secret Santa lunch at Cygnet Restaurant, where strangers become friends over a four-course shared feast featuring seafood platters, Beef Wellington, and all the festive trimmings, with a gift exchange and the chance to win a QT Suite Party for 15. For $128++ per person, diners can add a $58++ free-flow beverage package with Champagne, wines, beer, and festive favourites, before heading to the Rooftop at QT for a poolside toast and a complimentary cocktail to keep the celebrations going.
