Our honest review of Gift-ed by Turtle
As an activity or a gift idea, the prices of the DIY crafts at Gift-ed by Turtle seems reasonable, especially for the quality and variety offered. This is especially so for the charms, which are so intricately designed despite its small sizes.
The gifts ranges from $5 to $25, depending on your choice of craft.

9 best DIY crafts at Gift-ed by Turtle
If you’re looking for an artsy activity, we’ve compiled a list of our favourite DIY products at Gifted by Turtle, alongside their prices.
1. DIY bear keychain

You can choose from a classic bear or bunny, and even the recently trending brown and white puppies from Kakao Emoticon. Each keychain starts from $26.9, including one dress, five accessories, a keychain, and a bottle of free glue to piece it up together.
The outfits ranges from chic tweed jackets and casual picnic dresses to crochet cardigans. Meanwhile, for accessories, you start simple with a bowtie or hat, or choose something that reflects your passion, such as a vintage camera and Starbucks cup.
You can add on additional accessories as well.
2. Decoden workshop

For those who haven’t heard of decoden before, it translates to “phone decoration” in Japanese. However, this art form has evolved to include other lifestyle products such as Pop Sockets ($2), Portable Fan ($10), Lamps ($20), in addition to Phone Cases ($5).
The “piping cream”, also known as the decoden are priced at $3-4 per bag at 50g.
And now for the most exciting parts — choosing your charms. The repertoire includes realistic miniature foods such as marshmallows and pancakes, adorable animals like a bear in a teacup, animal-shaped food, and more.

Charms start from $1 per piece.
Instead of purchase piece by piece, you can also get them by the bag to save money. Essentially, pick your size — Small ($10) fits about 15 pieces, Medium ($15) fits about 30 pieces, and Large ($20) fits about 50 pieces — and try to fit as many charms as you can without breaking the bag!
You can use the remaining charms for other purposes as well.

3. “Crocs” accessories

If you never got over your Crocs phase, you’re going be hyped for this “Crocs” section, where you can customise Sandals ($15), Crossbody Bags ($20), and Handbags ($18) with your favourite giblets.
The giblets are priced at $2-4 per piece.
4. Personalise your own aromatherapy scent

If you’ve always wanted to spruce up your room with aromatherapy, here’s your chance to craft your own signature scent.
Here’s how this works:
- Choose your glass bottle
- Select your combination of dried flowers
- Choose one scent
- Add in your diffuser stick
- Customise the bottle with your name

5. Iron-on patches

If you’re not that into crafts, but you just want a simple personalised item, this section is for you.
Choose your favourite patches from their huge collection. Alphabet patches cost $1 each, while the larger cartoons cost $3. You can opt for generic adorable ones like an astronaut or a cute duck, or popular characters like Crayon Shin Chan, Totoro, Cinnamoroll, and more.
You can either iron them on your existing bags or jackets, or purchase a phone strap or bucket hat from the shop.
6. Customised flower bouquets

Stop wasting money on bouquets. Most of the good ones cost at least $50, and the flowers wither after a week.
Instead, design your own bouquet that lasts forever. All the flowers at Gift-ed by Turtle are soap flowers. Even though they are artificial, they look pretty legitimate, especially when bound together in a bouquet. Soap flowers also emanate a subtle floral scent as they are crafted with soap ingredients.
Each stalk cost $2, which means that a bouquet would average at around $20.
7. Design your own keychain (smaller version)

Compared to the DIY bear keychain mentioned above, this DIY keychain is way smaller and easier to design. But, there are also fewer options in terms of the keychain strap and charms
Each keychain comes with an adorable character like a capybara, Crayon Shin Chan and Hello Kitty. These cost $3.9.
You can also get an empty keychain base for $3.
Next, pick your favourite charms and accessories at $3 each and string them together to form your personalised keychain.
8. Bobblehead printing services

This might be the cutest gift option at Gift-ed by Turtle.
Send in a picture of you and your loved ones, and have them printed out on a bobblehead machine.
Here are the prices:
- Single ($18)
- Double ($28)
- Triple ($38)
- Quadruple ($48)
9. DIY bracelets and necklaces

Finding the perfect bracelet or necklace is not easy, so why not create one that you’ll actually like?
To customise your own accessories, simply:
- Choose your rope/ chain for the necklace and bracelets.
- Pick your favourite charms and accessories
- Add the charms and accessories to the base
The base costs $5 for the necklace chain and $6 for leather bracelets
Meanwhile, the beads, including adorable designs like eggs, We Bare Bears, Cinnamoroll, costs $5 per piece.
DIY work station to complete your crafts

At the end of the day, if you need a spot, and equipment to assemble your product, head over to the entrance where a small DIY work station is set up. There are pliers, scissors, superglue, and invisible threads.
The marketing team of Gifted by Turtle also shared that they will be revamping the space soon to include tables and chairs for their customers to work on their crafts more comfortably. They did not mention when this will be implemented.
